Peabody has an exciting opportunity for a Supported Housing Administrator to join the team based in London. You will be there on a full time, fixed term basis and you will receive a competitive salary of £21,200 per annum.
The Supported Housing Administrator role:
To ensure the delivery of high quality and effective administration service to the Supported Housing department. Provide a professional, consistent and courteous service to clients of the Association and external agencies.
Key responsibilities as our Supported Housing Administrator:
– Provide a secretarial service to Head of Service and Housing management team, including typing correspondence and reports, mail merging letters, scheduling meetings, preparing information packs, liaising with other departments, filing, archiving, photocopying and any other ad-hoc administrative tasks that the team may require support with
– Support the delivery of core administrative functions such as equipment ordering, sickness absence returns, tracking annual leave, invoice coding, electronic filing, complaints and compliance certification
– Arrange meetings, both internal and external, as requested, ensuring agendas, supporting information be issued to participants in advance and arranging facilities
– Prepare and provide statistical information/returns on behalf of contract Managers and other team Managers as requested
– Receive tenant queries, attempt to deal with what they can answer and direct to the appropriate person where they cannot
What we’re looking for in our Supported Housing Administrator:
– 5 GCSE’s including English & Maths at Grade C or above
– Ability to work as part of a team and build and maintain effective and supportive relationships with peers and partners
– Excellent time management skills and demonstrable ability to meet deadlines and achieve goals
– Comprehensive IT skills to include intermediate level use of Microsoft Office
– Ability to maintain electronic records, with attention to detail
– Ability to communicate effectively with customers, staff and stakeholders in plain, easy to understand English, both in writing and verbally
